About the Cookies Policy

GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1 This Cookie Policy has been developed to meet the requirements of the Law of the United Arab Emirates and is one of the measures to protect the personal data of users of the information resource (hereinafter — the Site), the owner of which is  EMILISA FZCO (UAE, Dubai, IFZA Business Park, DDP, premises 17239 — 001).

1.2 Cookies are small fragments of data that are transmitted and stored on the user’s device (computer, smartphone, tablet or smartwatch) when visiting the Site. With the help of these files, the Site remembers information about the user and his device, including storing personal preferences and settings of the user, as well as “recognizes” the user and his device during the subsequent visit to the Site.

1.3 Cookies are processed by EMILISA FZCO for the purposes of:

1.3.1. correct functioning of the Site (including, allowing not to re-enter the parameters of access to the Site previously filled in by the user);

1.3.2. ensuring security of the Site users (for example, recognizing malicious users (bots));

1.3.3. collection of analytical information in generalized form for evaluation and further improvement of the Website operation;

1.3.4. creation and provision of personalized marketing and advertising materials.

1.4. EMILISA FZCO does not use cookies to identify a specific user of the Site.

WHAT INFORMATION ABOUT USERS OF THE SITE WE COLLECT

2.1.The information obtained through the use of cookies may include: the date and time of the visit to the Site; the duration of the session when visiting the Site; information about the pages of the Site visited by the user; the number of visits by the user to the Site during the month; the URL file viewed by the user, as well as information related to it; information about the information resource from which the user went to the Site; information about the operating system and browser used by the user’s device.

  1. WHAT COOKIES WE USE

3.1 The following types of cookies are used on the Site: technical (mandatory); analytical; advertising (marketing) cookies.

3.2 Technical (mandatory) cookies are required to ensure the correct functioning of the Site, including the correct use of the features offered on it, as well as to remember individual user settings (language, etc.). These cookies do not store any information about the user, which can be used for advertising (marketing) purposes or to assess his behavior on the Site. Such data is not transferred to third-party analytical systems.

3.5 Depending on the storage period, EMILISA FZCO uses session and persistent cookies. Session cookies are stored only during a browser session. Persistent cookies are stored for the time specified in the cookie settings or until deleted by the user.

3.6 Depending on who set (generated) cookies, they are divided into own cookies, which are set (generated) by EMILISA FZCO, and third-party cookies, which are generated by third parties and are used by us as a tool to analyze the user’s interaction with the Site, as well as to customize marketing and advertising materials relevant to the user’s interests.

3.7 The list of used cookies with indication of their functional purpose and retention period is given in the appendix to this Policy.

4.1 To achieve the purposes specified in subparagraphs 1.3.3 and 1.3.4 of paragraph 1.3 of this Policy, EMILISA FZCO transfers the information collected using analytical and advertising (marketing) cookies to the following third parties, which are engaged by us to process cookies and which implement sufficient measures to protect personal data:

WHETHER WE CARRY OUT CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER OF INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH THE USE OF COOKIES

5.1 EMILISA FZCO, using third-party cookies provided by third parties specified in Section 4 of this Policy, performs trans-border transfer of data not related to the identification of a particular user.

5.2 The cross-border transfer of data from cookies is carried out to the states where the appropriate level of protection of the rights of personal data subjects is ensured.

5.3 Within the framework of operation of the Google Analytics web analytics service, EMILISA FZCO may carry out cross-border transfer of aggregated (combined into a common array of information about users based on their behavioral characteristics) data, not related to the identification of a particular user, to servers of Google, Inc. located in the states, on the territory of which the appropriate level of protection of the rights of personal data subjects is not ensured.

5.4 In this regard, EMILISA FZCO informs users about the existence of risks arising from the lack of an adequate level of personal data protection in such foreign countries: the absence (fragmentation) of legislation on personal data; the absence (limited) of the rights of personal data subjects, the obligation of the operator to respond to the requests of the personal data subject; the absence of an authorized body for the protection of the rights of personal data subjects; the absence (limited) of liability measures for violations of the rights of sub

ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS WE PROCESS COOKIES 6.1 Since EMILISA FZCO can ensure the full and correct functioning of the Site, including the security of its use, only with the use of technical (mandatory) cookies, this type of cookie cannot be disabled by the functionality of the Site and is processed regardless of the user’s consent. In case of disabling such cookies using browser settings, EMILISA FZCO cannot guarantee correct operation of the Site.

6.2 With regard to analytical and advertising (marketing) cookies, EMILISA FZCO offers the user at the first visit to the Site to consent to the use of cookies or to refuse their use by clicking the buttons “Accept” or “Reject” on the pop-up information banner. By clicking the “Accept” button, the user agrees to the processing of analytical and advertising (marketing) cookies. By clicking the “Reject” button, the user refuses to use them. The user can also choose to use a specific type of cookie by clicking on the “Customize” link on the pop-up information banner.

6.3 The Site retains the user’s cookie settings for 1 (one) year. 7.3 The user can prevent the storage and use of data collected through Google Analytics cookies by using the plug-in available for download at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

7.4 The User may refuse the storage and use of data collected through the use of cookies from the Yandex Metric web analytics service by using the plug-in available for download at https://yandex.com/support/metrica/general/opt-out.html.

7.5 Since cookies used by EMILISA FZCO allow the user to effectively use the functionality of the Site, personalize its content by recording user preferences, as well as customize advertising and marketing materials relevant to the interests of the user, we recommend that you leave cookies enabled.
